Shishka Lebanese Grill was established by Walid and his brother Gus in 2011. The Zabib family is originally from the city of Beirut in Lebanon.When they came to Florida, they found that there were only a few Middle Eastern restaurants around, but hardly any of them were really that good. They decided to open a restaurant where you could get a good home-cooked Lebanese meal the way Mom used to make. With our complete menu, you can feast on all the old favorites.
The Lebanese cuisine is a cuisine from the heart, and a cuisine of the sun and the breezy mountains, a happy union of flavors and sensations that satisfy your taste but leave you always eager for more…
It is well known that Mediterranean food is one of the healthiest in the world; Lebanese cuisine being part of this tradition, succeeded in combining health with pleasure and became the most popular of all Middle Eastern cuisines.
What makes this cuisine very enticing is its presentation and its Mezze (or Mezza in Lebanese). Mezza includes beautiful dishes with a variety of colors, textures, aromas and flavors, ranging from stews, vegetables, meats, seafood and salads, usually served in small portions as appetizers, alongside tasty dips like Hummus, Baba Ghanouj and Toum (garlic dip).
Replacing a fork with pita bread can be so much fun! It is hearty, feel-good fare, fun food to dip into with slices of pita bread from the constantly replenished basket on the table. Although plenty of singles dine here, the Tripoli is a natural for large, informal parties of communal eaters.
For those of you who love coffee we offer Turkish style coffee that is very rich in taste, extra strong with grounds at the bottom of the cup, it goes hand in hand with any of the desserts we offer. For you Tea lovers we serve a variety of flavors for you to enjoy
